Where do I run?

It is very exhausting to run away from what God calls us to do, from what he, in His eternal purpose, has placed within us. Sometimes we think that the solution is to move to another city or country with the intention of leaving everything behind, to pretend to ignore things, to hide behind a thousand excuses, to give priority to other things, believing that in this way we bury what the Father entrusted to us. The reality is that no matter how hard we try, we will only lose valuable time on the exhausting journey of running away.
You can ask Jonah about this. There is much to learn from his story, but I am captivated by the fact that he represents us in every moment that we come across the idea that running away is the solution. Sailing on a boat, being thrown into the water and even being swallowed by a large fish seem like the options to make before accepting the call that God has placed on your life. Neither give up, nor act disinterested, nor take long pauses… it will give us the peace that, only by doing the Father's will we can enjoy.
For a year I abandoned this blog project. I tried to hide and bury the writings that appeared daily. It's funny, because I thought it was something that only I was going to deal with —yes, with the weight of knowing that I was quitting; but there was not a single day of that year that God in his infinite tenderness of Dad, did not confront me. He used all means, resources and strategies to sensitize my hardened and proud heart, which resisted doing His will. Yes! in something as basic as writing a post. Doesn't that happen to us? We want to run away, even, from the smallest things that God gives us.
Jeremiah 1:5 resonated in my senses: “I chose you before you were born; I set you aside for you
to speak in my name to all the nations of the world.
What He has put into us —for the simple fact that we were His choice—, whether in our opinion is something small, such as blogging, writing, exercising whatever talent you have, leading a group of young people or a small community of people in your social media... or else something big, like what Jonah had to do, preach to an entire city, lead an entire church, direct projects that are national and international in scope; everything that you carry within you, everything, comes from eternity: an eternal purpose; who has no other intention than to connect us and connect others to the heart of the Father.

Jonah is the proof that when God calls you to something, His presence will embrace all the cardinal points that surround you, to always find you and follow you. His love is insistent, precisely because it was He who chose you and set you apart for a will greater than yours, this is good, pleasant and perfect.
Psalm 139:7-12, I could never walk away from your spirit, or pretend to run away from you! If I could go up to heaven, there I would find you; If I went down to the depths of the earth, I would also find you there. If I flew east, your right hand would guide me; If I stayed to live in the west, you would give me your help there too. If I wanted it to be at night to hide in the dark, it would be useless! For you there is no difference between darkness and light! For you, even the night shines like sunlight!
You cannot run away. No matter how much you want to get away, it will follow you. You are exhausted. It is exhausting to run from Him and His calling. Maybe you stopped because someone told you that you were not good at the job, or you see yourself and say ''someone can do it better than me''; But today I'm going to give you a reason not to quit: God found you trustworthy. That which He gave you, that for which He has called you, is because He trusted that you could handle it. You were His choice. So go dig up the talent - the calling! that you hid, don't set sail on boats anymore! because the Father has trusted you and continues to trust you, because He will use what you have to connect you and connect others to His heart.
I hug you!
