Within His Will.

We often hear or say this expression: «may it be what God wants!» «To the will of God!» But 90% of the cases, it is only an expression and we end up doing everything, less, what God wanted us to do it. For example, one of the areas where we are most concerned, in which the will of God is present, is when choosing the person with whom we want to spend the rest of our lives. We focus so much on that ―which is not bad or sin― but we leave all other areas of our life under our own will and desires. Then the chaos begins.
What do I mean by this? Well, we usually choose the areas of our life in which we will allow His will to be established ―more if in that area it favors us― and which areas we will not allow ―the ones that don't favor us but our desires are stronger; when God wants that in "our whole life" His will be established, that "it is good, pleasant and perfect" (Romans 12: 2). Then, as our whole life is not complete, within and surrounded by His will, we begin to see «expiration dates» in areas, in things we are doing, in relationships or in ministries.
And you start doing everything to "rescue" what is going wrong in your life, it is when the wrong or hasty decisions appear, attitudes and actions that lead you to a path that God didn't design for you.

Understand this: everything that is and what you do within the will of God remains, what is and what you do outside of His will has an expiration date. We all want the lasting, the "forever", the eternal; Nobody wants a passing family, or a job/business that lasts only a couple of months or dreams that for a time make you feel happy and then empty, or a ministry that you start today and tomorrow is lost. Nobody wants that. But it requires more than one "simple expression", it requires «you, within His will».
''1 John 2:17, The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.''
I hug you and I bless you!
