Those moments when God doesn't do anything...

We love the part of God, in which He does miracles, He frees us from evil and always comes to our rescue. Like when we are going through a difficult time or a need, we pray, and He responds immediately — come on! Who doesn't like that?. We are in a time where everything is easier, quick and immediate; What we do today in a few minutes, a few times back, took hours or days. Knowing that there is a god who can do everything just by blowing his fingers ―just think about this idea― gives us emotion and hope.

But what happens when there are moments when God does nothing? You ask for your illness and He doesn't heal you, you need a miracle to a problem and nothing happens; Or you take time to pray for a petition and nothing happens either. We question, don't we? We started asking '' Why do you allow it?'' Why, if you have the power, you don't do something about it?'' and all the ''why'' that you can think of. God doesn't promise to give explanations to your ''why'', for the simple fact that He is sovereign, ''Daniel 4:35, NIV, All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?”; in other words nobody tells God how to be God. He will not give you explanations, but He promises that He will be with you in any process of your life, ''Isaiah 41:10, So don't fear, for I am with you; don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand''.

Two and a half years ago, I entered into a very strong process in my life, God was allowing me to go through the fire. I tell you, I thought I wasn't going to be able to survive it ―the enemy makes us believe that― but the reality is that God knows what material we are made of. He will never allow you to go through fire, if He doesn't know that you are fireproof. For many months, I put all my questions to God. And one day, His voice as a gentle sound spoke to me, this was our conversation:

'' - So your hope you put in me only when I allow the good in your life? - But I do not understand, Father! -I told. -It is not your concern to understand the ''why'', but the ''for what'' of this fire.''

Uff! It landed me like a bucket of cold water. Then change my prayer. And I began to pray in this way: ''Father, I know you are available to me. I know you can do all the things. Even pass from my this fire with your powerful hand. But even if you didn't, my hope will still be on you. Teach me to see the ''for what'' of this process.''

I discovered the ''for what''. Changing my prayer, changed my life. Change your prayer on your process!
