When you don't fit...

I mean, who has not felt like a fish out of water at some point in their life? Where you simply feel that you do not fit. And somehow you try to do everything to feel part of something or feel that you are part of someone. The reality of why this happens to us, is because there is an absence of belonging. When God created man and woman, He created them within the Garden of Eden, this garden was made "just right" so that these beings would fit into it. It was the place that belonged to them. And being God with them in that place there was a sense of belonging: they belonged to God and God to them.

But we lost that, when sin comes into the picture. God was obliged to take them out of the garden ― the place where they fit perfectly― since in Eden there was the "tree of life" and God had to prevent man from eating that tree so that sin wouldn't eternally separate us from Him, (Genesis 3:24). It was like that, since man had no alternative but to look for a place in this world. Now you understand why you do not fit? Your design was never to live in this world.

Remember that each time God refers to His children, He calls them chosen, "1 Peter 2: 9, NIV, But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light''; to be chosen, is that we are *selected or *set apart for something in particular. In this case, for God and to do wonderful works in His light.

Understand this: in this world, in the system in which this world lives, you will NEVER fit. No matter how much you keep trying or the kind of life you try to live even far from God, it will never be enough. And more when you already have a relationship with Him, that you have known Him and that you have experienced the lineage to which you really belong. You are in this world, but you are not of the world! We are foreigners. Nothing else, we are passing through here. With only one mission: to bring to others Jesus' message of love; this is what He said, ''John 17:16:18, I am not of this world, and neither are they. Your message is the truth; make that by listening to it, they surrender totally to you. I send them to give your message to the people of this world, just as you sent me.''

Do yourself a favor, don't try to fit! That is not bad at all, as it seems...
