If God pleases to do it...

To us humans, it is difficult for us to remember someone because of the good things that she/he did or the qualities we saw while sharing with him/her, when that person makes a mistake (or many mistakes). We have given power to the mistakes of erasing the virtues, qualities and even opportunities of a person. We think that a mistake or a past defines someone. Even worse, we believe that because we do it, God must also do it. The irony of this, is that we are good at doing this with others, but when it comes to me (of you), we seek the understanding of others at their maximum expression, including God.
If there is someone who doesn't give up or get tired of us, it is God, ''Isaiah 40:28, Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom''. Whether you are someone you know and have a beautiful relationship with Him, as if you are someone who is apart, maybe someone who God is not on his/her list of priorities or is just living his/her life in his/her own way; every day, we all enjoy the same mercy, the same love and the same grace, ''Romans 5:15, But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!'' - to the many means ''all''. Without exceptions, ''Matthew 5:45, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous''.
What do I want to get with this? If God pleases, He can raise and restore the vilest sinner - according to our criteria, to that person who "does not deserve it" - and use it for His Glory, ''Psalm 115:3, Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him''. You would be surprised at how many examples you find in the Bible, about people who made huge mistakes or that their past lives were unworthy and how God pleases to make them something extraordinary. Of course, because each of these people allowed Him to lift them and restore them. Our step is to accept and give the "yes" to the opportunity that He gives us to amend our lives and correct our mistakes.

You know, I learned to see the Peter who walked on the water and not the one who sank. The son who returned home and not the prodigal. To David who had the heart according to God's and not the one who killed Uriah to hide his sin. To the Samaritan woman to whom Jesus gives one of the greatest revelations in history and not the one who had six husbands. Because God has taught me that He doesn't mark anyone because of their mistakes or their past. He always gives us the opportunity to get up and restore ourselves!
Give your ''yes'' to Him and give Him your life! Did you move away? returns. Did you sin? repent. Do you load with your past? Let it go. Other or you have marked yourself for that? forgive and forgive yourself. And prepare yourself for what God will do with you!
I bless you and hug you!
