Heart of stone.

here are stones of all sizes and shapes, but they all have one thing in common: they are solid. Other characteristics of this material, is that depending on the size, it is its weight, that is to say, that some are possible to load and others better not even try it; some are smooth surface and others are rough. Now, let's analyze our heart. Many for the blows of life, for wounds that someone has invoked, for wounds that they caused themselves, for disappointments, for losses, for the betrayal of a friend and so on; when they least expected it, they are carrying (some already can not with that load) a stone more than a heart. They no longer believe, they no longer trust, they no longer love, they no longer have hope and perhaps they have reached the point where their heart of stone is not common, but an iceberg: totally cold.

The issue is that the condition of your interior, even if you try not to show it, is reflected in your exterior. You think that by building a stone wall in your heart, it is synonymous with strength and not weakness with those around you. Maybe you've even made promises ''nobody will ever do this to me again'' ''once, but never twice''. The reality is that, in the place where nobody can see you, where only you are, you are screaming for help.

The dangerous thing is that you struggle with this, not only with yourself or with those around you, but also with God. We are used to Him paying the broken plates of our lives. Questions arise, the ''why'', the ''how did you allow this'' or the ''if you loved me this would not happen''. And our heart becomes insensitive towards Him. We prefer to get away and keep it from afar in our life. This happened to the people of Israel. Their hearts had hardened towards God, so much that they began to do evil. As if there was something so bad that they could have done to cause God to stop loving them?! Never! On the contrary, when this happened, God speaks to his people and gives them this promise: Ezekiel 36:26, NIV: I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.''

The same tells you today! And you know, I love that God does not promise a "patch of something you already had", no! He promises you a new heart and spirit. In other words He is saying to you, '' I will give you a heart that is not used, is not damaged, that is complete, tender and receptive. '' Stop running away from God, because he is a specialist in removing hearts of stones. Give him your heart (Proverbs 23:26). And with that, returns to believe again, trust again, love again and try again that in His hands of love, he will melt what is cold, and no matter what, your heart will be safe.

I bless you and hug you!
